Customer ratings
Fast engraver with clean results
400 mm/s on plywood raster is legit; paired with air assist the edges are much cleaner than my old 5W unit.
Great value, but safety is on you
Hardware quality is solid for the price, but it’s Class 4—plan for enclosure, exhaust, and proper goggles.
LightBurn works perfectly
Plugged in via USB, recognized right away. Material test grid dialed in quickly. No Wi-Fi is a non-issue for me.
Documentation could be better
Spec sheets conflict on bed size and some steps are glossed over. Once set up, performance is excellent.
Air assist is a must-have
Included pump makes a big difference on multi-pass cuts. Birch ply edges are much less charred.
Support response was slow
Had a question about replacement lenses and waited over a week for a reply. Community forums helped faster.
No camera, no problem
Manual focus and simple jigs get me precise alignment. Would love autofocus, but not a dealbreaker at this price.

Conclusion

The Gweike G1 10W delivers impressive speed and precision for its price point, making it a strong contender for experienced users on a budget. However, its Class 4 laser designation and reports of poor customer support mean it is not recommended for beginners or those who value a seamless, well-supported user experience.
