Customer ratings
48W mode absolutely rips with air assist
Cutting performance is night and day vs my old 10W. With the built-in double-pump air assist, 6 mm birch ply is clean in multiple passes, and edges are way less charred.
Huge work area + linear rail = smooth results
The 800×400 bed fits my larger jigs, and the X linear guide keeps lines steady even at higher scan speeds. Alignment is repeatable after homing.
Manual focus works, but I ordered the L2
Swapping materials a lot made the manual focus a bottleneck. The L2 autofocus + flame detect looks like the right upgrade for production pace.
Plan space and ventilation
It’s a big open-frame Class 4 machine. I added an enclosure and exhaust to keep fumes out and improve safety. Worth factoring into total cost.
Solid with LightBurn, Wi-Fi unclear
USB + TF card workflow is reliable. LightBurn control of the air assist (M7) is super handy. The app is fine for simple jobs, but I wouldn’t rely on it for production.
