Strong power at a budget price
For under $300, this thing delivers serious cutting ability. With air assist on, I cut 6 mm plywood cleanly after some tuning.
Assembly is easy but fiddly
It goes together in about an hour, but the manual is confusing. Belt tension needed tweaking before engravings were sharp.
Manual focus slows things down
It engraves beautifully once focused, but swapping materials constantly means adjusting the block over and over. Definitely consider the L2 upgrade.
Good engraving, photo detail just okay
Wood engraving and logos come out crisp. Photo engravings lack some contrast compared to my old 5W Sculpfun.
Great value if you plan upgrades
Base machine works well, but the ecosystem is the point. Add the Z-axis and an enclosure, and it feels like a different class of machine.
