Powerhouse cutter with safety built in
Upgraded from a 10W machine — the difference is night and day. Cuts through 15 mm plywood in one pass. The enclosure keeps fumes contained and I feel much safer running it indoors.
Great for small business
I use this for Etsy orders. The 400×400 mm bed is big enough for signs and coasters. Camera helps with positioning. Air assist is strong. Worth every penny.
Software learning curve
The hardware is excellent, but the Mecpow app is buggy. LightBurn works flawlessly though, so I recommend budgeting for it. Once set up, it runs smoothly.
Strong but enclosure feels fragile
Machine arrived with a cracked acrylic panel. Mecpow replaced it, but the panels are not as sturdy as metal. Performance-wise, it’s a beast.
Excellent balance of power and safety
Switchable 20W/40W laser is super convenient. No need to swap heads. Great detail in 20W mode and blazing cutting power in 40W mode.
